What should you bring to kings island

Not only will you see lighter crowds, you can take advantage of less ride wait times. Parking will also be easier, too. We were able to take advantage of the plan even more with the fact that you can order a meal and side every 90 minutes.

So what did we do? As a gal that wanted to try a little of everything, I did just that. Beginning at 11am and every 90 minutes thereafter, I ordered a meal and had a few bites.

While it was a ton of food, I wanted to find out my favorite dining spot. The winner? Dining Plan note: Dining Plans do not include drinks. We did end up purchasing a refillable mug using the app and took full advantage of staying hydrated. I think the theming is adorable, the music fun.

And not just any blue ice cream, either. Located in Planet Snoopy, the blueberry soft serve has a cult following at this point. Last, but certainly not least, you really should try the go beyond the original cotton candy taste and try a cool flavor like Ranch or Licorice.

At The Sweet Spot, new flavors are debuted each week and are available to take home. You have to stay hydrated while you are walking the park, riding and enjoying yourself. Get online, before you ever head to Kings Island and buy the Souvenir Drink Bottles because after 2 refills the bottle pays for itself. Staying hydrated is easy, and when you ride, you just leave your bottles in the ride area, and claim them when you get back.

You can read my food Finds HERE, but know, there is something for everyone, there are lots of places to eat at from sweets to treats, and the park is allergen friendly and latex free. We did not see anyone bringing in coolers, there are pavilion areas, but they are not in the park and in fact the system that is in place the All Day Dining Deal, makes it possible to never reach for your wallet and dine all day!

Less is definitely more when you visit Kings Island Amusement Park. Most people entering had just a smaller backpack, with minimal items, and I would suggest sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a place to safely place your phone while you are riding and not your pocket. I was so happy to find WiFi that worked throughout the park. The WiFi was strong, and it allowed me to stay in touch while we were on the go. In fact, we took some great photos and I posted them because time spent at Kings Island Amusement Park deserves the hashtags KIBestDay — you will understand once you go there.

My suggestion is as weekday jaunt to Kings Island. We really never stood in a long line and in fact the lines were not bad anywhere around the park. My mask only moved slightly while riding in the back row. If you have a bag and want to ride Orion, you will need to purchase a locker rental located near the ride entrance.

There are no storage bins available for guests for bags before you ride Orion. Running belts are thinner than fanny packs which make them easier to wear on rides without interfering with ride harnesses and straps. Many rides do not have storage bins for your bags while you ride or you may need to purchase a locker rental.

The store is located near the front gate on International Street. The Squishmallows are available in an assortment of sizes and price points. Guests can also purchase select Squishmallows from the Kings Island online store. The hybrid resort and camping destination is projected to welcome more than , guests annually, including Kings Island visitors, families, and vacationers to a unique, memorable getaway with modern-day cottages and full-service RV sites.

Kings Island Camp Cedar is now taking reservations for the season with 73 beautifully appointed cottages and full-service RV spaces, and additional cottages planned. Resort guests will be able to take advantage of outdoor entertainment including recreational and adult-exclusive pools, ponds, walking trails, and unique dining options. Plus, they will find camping must-haves including bathhouses, laundry facilities, firepits, grills, and picnic tables.

For those visiting Kings Island, there will be a number of exclusive resort perks like Stay and Play packages. The Coffee and Gelato shop is encased in an exposed beam grand lobby with a welcome center, fireplace, and overstuffed furniture. Both will offer poolside service and cabana facilities. Hoping my kids would enjoy going. The Kings Island linked through the entry is for an artist. My family is looking forward to going to Kings Island this summer, three teenagers are ready to ride and have fun. There were fewer people in the park which helped reduce the ride times.

The popular rides still had a typical wait time. My absolute favorite thing to do in the entire park is to ride The Beast after the sun goes down. As you make your way through the woods, the darkness, speed, and unmistakeable sound of a wooden track may just be your favorite 4 minutes of the entire day, too.
